River Rafting Simme

The Simme is a scenic class II-III river located in the idyllic Simmental. This fun, easy rafting tour opens the challenges of whitewater to nearly everyone and is ideal for school groups, families, and companies. The Simme trip is available with departures from Interlaken and Därstetten.

 

What's Included:
  • All necessary rafting equipment
  • Professional guides
  • A free drink after the trip
  • Pick up/drop off service from designated locations
  • Changing rooms and hot showers (available at the base in Interlaken)
What to bring:
  • Swimsuit
  • Towel
Requirements:
  • ­Maximum weight 125kg (275lbs.)
  • Minimum age 10 (under 18 only with adult supervision)
  • Swimming ability is recommended but not required
  • Good health is required to participate

Departures from Interlaken:
  1. Meet your guide at the OUTDOOR Interlaken Base 
  2. Drive to the start of the rafting trip (40 minutes).
  3. First briefing
  4. Changing and dressing in rafting equipment.
  5. Instructions, training, comprehensive safety talk
  6. Rafting approx. 1.5 – 2 hours to Därstetten
  7. Drive back to Interlaken 
Departures from Därstetten
  1. Meet your guides at the Train Station Därstetten
  2. First briefing
  3. Changing and dressing in rafting equipment.
  4. Instructions, training, comprehensive safety talk
  5. Rafting approx. 1.5 – 2 hours to Därstetten

 

  • The river has small to mid-sized rapids, class II-III
  • This is a great trip for groups and families
  • This is a good wet weather option, and the trip runs in most conditions
